Tut Systems (TUTS) was up 14.9% in early trading after bouncing off a 52-week low of 1.95.

The broadband systems company said first-quarter revenue will fall short of expectations because the slowing economy has made revenue collection uncertain. The company said it shipped more than $5.7 million worth of products in the period but does not expect to recognize all of it as revenue.

Tuts also said it expects margins to be hurt.
