Teva edges up as TASE opens Monday mixed with a negative bias

On Sunday the generic drugs giant lost almost 8% after Friday's 11% dive on Nasdaq

Teva Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:TEVA) is edging up Monday morning as the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange opens mixed with a negative bias.

Leading indicators are losing 0.4% on low total turnover of NIS 12 million.

The Maof-25 index is down 0.44% at opening to 475.9 points, while the TA-100 index is 0.34% off to 464.33 points.

Trade in Teva is lively again this morning. On Sunday Teva shares dropped 7.9% on 40% of the total turnover on the TASE. This morning the share is inching uo 0.2% on the session's highest turnover, NIS 3.5 million.

In contrast with the rises on Teva, Formula Systems (Nasdaq:FORTY) is down 1.9%, Elbit (Nasdaq:ELBTF) is losing 2% and Retalix (Nasdaq:RTLX) is off by 0.8%.
