Tel Aviv stocks are opening the Monday session mixed with a positive bias, after diving hard on Sunday. But trading volumes are thin.

The Maof-25 index of blue chips is up 0.45% to 473.63 points and the TA-100 index is off 0.21% to 457.42 points.

Teva Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:TEVA) is unchanged on high opening turnover of NIS NIS 1 million. Teva opened the day on a negative arbitrage gap of 1.8%. Yesterday, Teva shares lost 5.3%.

Bank shares are in the green after losing ground on Sunday. Bank Hapoalim is rising by 0.6% on NIS 1.4 million and Bank Leumi is gaining 0.6% on NIS 1 million.

Clal shares are rallying after diving on Sunday following the group's earnings warning for the fourth quarter of 2000. Clal Industries and Investments is up 2.8% after losing an aggregate of 25% this month alone. Clal Electronics is unchanged after diving 7.5% yesterday.
