Tarantella, based in Santa Cruz, Calif., makes software that enables organizations to access and manage information, data and applications across virtually all platforms, networks and devices. Sun expects to complete the transaction in the first quarter of its fiscal year 2006.
Sun closed Monday at $3.85, while Tarantella ended the day at 83 cents.
