Startup Metreo raises $15 million

In a third financing round since its March 2000 founding

Metreo, an American startup that was founded by Israelis Daphne Carmeli and Nachum Shacham last week completed a third $15 million financing round.

The funding round for the pricing solutions provider was led by American VC fund Redpoint Ventures. Other investors were Sequoia Capital, Palo Alto-based Prospect Venture Partners and Mentor Capital Partners.

Metreo develops e-business software that enables suppliers to evaluate customer sales requests and recommend profitable responses. Daphne Carmeli, former VP of marketing in Netscape-AOL and now CEO of Metreo, Nachum Shacham, Kelly Ireland and Tak Yan founded the company in March of 2000.

The Palo Alto based company has offices in New York, Chicago, Boston and Dallas.
