Sonus Matches Estimates, Warns of Revenue Shortfall - TheStreet

reported a fourth-quarter loss of $13.4 million, or 7 cents a share, compared with a loss of $6.3 million, or 4 cents a share, in the year-ago quarter. Excluding charges, the network equipment maker lost $7.7 million, or 4 cents a share, matching the consensus analyst estimate compiled by Thomson Financial/First Call.

Revenue for the quarter rose to $38.9 million from $28.6 million in the year-ago quarter.

The company also warned of a potential first-quarter revenue pullback without offering specific guidance, saying projections are difficult because some customers are in financial difficulty.
