said it will post better-than-expected fourth quarter results, with revenue up to 40% higher than previously forecast and a narrower-than-expected pro forma loss.
The consumer electronics company now expects revenue of $78 million to $80 million for the quarter and a pro forma loss of less than 11 cents a share.
In November, the company forecast revenue of $57 million to $58 million and a loss of 11 cents. Wall Street analysts are expecting a fourth-quarter loss of 9 cents a share, according to Thomson Financial/First Call.
Shares of Sonicblue were recently trading up 24.4% to $4.80 in Instinet premarket trading.
