Secure Computing (SCUR) was up 10.7% in preopen Island trading after the network security company warned late Monday that third-quarter revenue would be just 90% to 92% of Wall Street's expected $14.4 million.

But the company said its gross profit and per-share loss estimate will likely exceed analysts' estimates. Analysts expect the company to post a loss of 7 cents a share according to Thomson Financial/First Call.

Secure Computing is slated to post results on Oct. 18.
