Sanmina

(SANM) - Get Report

fell more than 9% this week after a trade group said industry's book to bill ratio for printed circuit boards dropped in March and April. IPC said the ratio, which is determined by dividing the number of average orders booked by the average of sales billed, fell to 0.94 in April from 0.98 in March and from 1.00 in February. The number, while in line with last year's drop, dragged down Sanmina because analysts said the ratio should have performed better if the sector was seeing the much predicted second-quarter recovery.
