Shares of Salesforce.com (CRM) - Get Report were falling 1% after hours after the company reported earnings of 71 cents per share on revenue of $3.28 billion

Analysts forecast second-quarter earnings of 61 cents per share on revenue of $3.23 billion. Earlier this year, the company provided its own revenue guidance between $3.22 billion and $3.23 billion.

However, in spite of the top- and bottom-line beats, investors are worried about the company's soft guidance for the current quarter.

Third-quarter earnings are expected to be between 49 cents and 50 cents per share, short of Wall Street's expectation of 54 cents per share. Sales are expected to be between $3.355 billion and $3.365 billion, ahead of analyst expectations of $3.35 billion.

For the full-year, Salesforce expects to earn between $2.50 and $2.52 per share on revenue between $13.12 billion and $13.17 billion.
