reiterated that its voluntary stock options review is ongoing and that it will need to restate some historical financial reports.
The BlackBerry device maker said Friday that it was providing an update to its stock options probe at the request of the Ontario Securities Commission, and said it would provide biweekly updates until it is in compliance with Canadian law.
Securities and Exchange Commission
has asked for documents related to the company's internal investigation, and RIM said it is cooperating with both the OSC and the SEC.
RIM does not anticipate any material adjustments to its
second-quarter results, or to current and future financial statements.
It said it would file its financial statements for the second quarter as soon as possible.
The stock fell 44 cents to $116 in after-hours trading.
