Rambus Financial Chief Exits

Rambus (RMBS) - Get Report Chief Financial Officer Robert K. Eulau will resign, effective March 2, to "pursue another opportunity."

The maker of chip-interface products said Tuesday that CEO Harold Hughes will serve as interim CFO until a replacement has been found.

"Bob has made a significant contribution to Rambus for nearly five years and we are saddened to see him depart but wish him well in his new opportunity," Hughes said in a statement.

Eulau joined Rambus in May 2001. Prior to Rambus, he held various financial and marketing management positions during his 16 years at

Following the announcement, shares of Rambus were off more than 5% in after-hours trading to $27.19 on Instinet.
