Selling on the TASE is taking leading indices down by as much as 0.5% Monday at opening. In the last few minutes those drops have moderated and the Maof-25 is now down a mere 0.18%. The TA-100 is losing 0.07%, while the Tel Tech 15 is gaining 0.76%. Turnover at this point is a slim NIS 19 million.
Elbit Systems (Nasdaq:ESLT) is gaining 2.6% after the company this morning reported several contracts, totaling $80 million, signed with the Brazilian government and Amber Air International, the manufacturer of the ALX planes, are now in effect.
Teva Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:TEVA) is gaining 1.2%, on the usual highest turnover on the floor of NIS 4.7 million.
The two big banks are posting drops. Bank Hapoalim is losing 0.3%, and Bank Leumi is sinking even deeper, down 0.9%.
IDB group shares are mixed. IDB Holdings is losing 1.1%, while IDB Development is gaining 0.1%. Clal Industries is losing 0.1%, and the Israel Discount Corporation is climbing 0.6%.
Koor Industries (Nasdaq:KOR) is dipping 0.2%, while its subsidiary Makhteshim Agan is gaining 0.3%.
