Teleconferencing technology company Polycom (PLCM) was up 36.5% in early trading. Interest in teleconferencing products has been high since Tuesday's terrorist attacks as corporations seek new ways to conduct business long-distance in a climate of disrupted air travel and communications.

Tuesday morning, Polycom announced its security architecture was certified by independent testing organization West Coast Labs. According to the company, this certification verifies that a security solution meets industry-accepted and published standards.
