Oracle (ORCL) - Get Report was up 4.1% in midmorning as it shook off comments from Robertson Stephens analyst Eric Upin. Upin said in a research note a slowing economy would likely produce a "disappointing May quarter."

Upin lowered his 2002 EPS estimate to 46 cents from 51 cents.

Other business software stocks were also rising, with
