Oracle (ORCL) - Get Report was down 4.3% in late morning, following a negative note on the software sector from Goldman Sachs analyst Rick Sherlund. Sherlund said he would be "relieved" if many companies met his zero-growth estimates for the second quarter.
Oracle is scheduled to release fourth-quarter earnings June 18.
Other stocks in the sector were also struggling, including

, down 1.6%. Sherlund said he consider both Siebel and Microsoft "relatively safe" investments.
