OpenTV Up on Deployment Numbers

OpenTV (OPTV) was up 27.7% by early afternoon.

The interactive TV software maker announced late Monday that its products were now installed on 16 million set-top boxes worldwide, a 105% increase over a year ago, with deployments in the March quarter rising 30%. The company credited much of the growth to deals with
