Before charges, the software maker earned 2 cents a share on revenue of $307.6 million, up from $273.3 million a year ago. The results were somewhat better than estimates the company gave earlier in the year.
After various charges, the company lost $94.5 million, or 26 cents a share. Its shares were gaining 42 cents, or 10.5%, to $4.41 on Instinet.
