NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Google (GOOG) - Get Report users have found themselves staring at a conspicuous change on the search engine's homepage, and many are already likening it to Microsoft's (MSFT) - Get Report Bing site.
Previously, Google's background was plain and white. But it's now been replaced with a gigantic photo that users can change, if they wish. They can replace it with their own photo, or even pre-designed images that were created in collaboration with famous artists and photographers.
To change the background image, users can click"change background image" on the bottom lefthand corner of the screen. they will be then be prompted by Google to log in to their personal account. Once logged in, a new window will pop up, prompting them to choose an image. Users can then click on an image of their choice and hit the "select" button at the bottom of the window.
