Technology infrastructure company Network Commerce (NWKC) was up 13.5% in midafternoon, spiking on the announcement it would reach profitability in 10 months, earlier than previously forecast. The new prediction came as the company also announced 85 layoffs and said another 56 jobs cuts are on the way. In addition, it said CFO Alan Koslow will resign. Prior to being halted for the announcements, Network Commerce was down more than 8%.
