The Rochester, N.Y., company, which provides Internet connectivity and communications services, said it expects revenue of $40 million to $45 million in the quarter. Mpower also expects a loss before interest, taxes, stock-based compensation, depreciation and amortization of $54 million to $57 million.
While Mpower didn't provide specific earnings guidance, eight analysts polled by
First Call/Thomson Financial
are calling for the company to lose $1.63 in the quarter, wider than the $1.56 it lost in the year-ago period.
