Microsemi Issues 2001 Sales Guidance

said Thursday it expects first-quarter 2001 sales of $60 million to $65 million compared with sales of $65 million in the fourth quarter, which ended on Oct.1. The company expects full-year 2001 sales of $280 million to $290 million.

The Santa Clara, Calif.-based firm also said it sees gross margins for the first quarter to be 30% to 32 %, with increases of 25 to 75 basis points each quarter for the remainder of fiscal year 2001.
