said Brian Pedlar, the company's interim co-president and chief executive, has resigned.
The company said it received a written notification from Pedlar's lawyer that he was leaving the company, a developer of medical-imaging and information-management software and services. His departure took effect at the close of business last Friday.
Pedlar also served as president of Cedara Software, a division of Merge.
Robert White will continue as the company's interim president and CEO. Loris Sartor, vice president of sales, and Jacques Cornet, vice president of business development and marketing, will administer Cedara's operations until Merge finds a replacement for Pedlar.
Shares of Merge were dropping 90 cents, or 11.7%, to $6.78 Monday.
