Manugistics (MANU) - Get Report was down 14.8% in preopen Island trading. After the close Thursday the business software maker posted first-quarter earnings excluding items of 3 cents per share, matching the Thomson Financial/First Call estimate and up from 1 cent a year ago.
Revenue rose 78% and slightly topped analysts' estimates. The company said it expects to earn 3 cents per share once again in its second quarter. The Street was expecting 4 cents
