In the third quarter, Kodak expects to earn $1.04 a share, excluding one-time items, compared with First Call/Thomson Financial analysts' expectation of 73 cents a share, on average. The company earned 52 cents a share in last year's comparable quarter.
Looking to the fourth quarter, Kodak expects to earn between 60 cents and 70 cents a share, compared with analysts' forecast of 66 cents a share, and earnings of 12 cents a share in the year-ago quarter.
