J.D. Edwards (JDEC) expects earnings in the fourth quarter ended Oct. 31 to top previously issued guidance of 4 cents a share.
According to Thomson Financial/First Call, the average analyst earnings expectation was 1 cent a share for the Denver software maker.
J.D. Edwards said fourth-quarter license revenue also will be higher than expected, totaling more than $70 million. Total revenue will be $220 million to $225 million.
