The Mountain View, Calif., financial software maker said its pro forma loss was $27.6 million, or 13 cents a share, compared with analysts' estimates of 15 cents a share. On the bottom line, the company lost $92.4 million, or 44 cents a share.

The company raised its guidance for fiscal 2002 operating earnings to between $280 million and $290 million, up from between $275 million and $285 million.
