Intel Upsizes Vietnam Plant

Intel (INTC) - Get Report will spend as much as $1 billion on a plant in Vietnam and more than triple the size of the facility, according to a report Friday.

said the chip giant will increase its initial $300 million investment in the chip assembly and testing plant that's under construction. The plant will be expanded to 500,000 square feet from 150,000 square feet.
