ICG Communications Says Several Executives Resign

ICG Communications


, a telecommunications company that filed for bankruptcy protection last month, said several executives resigned today as part of its ongoing financial restructuring efforts.

William S. Beans, the president and chief operating officer, and Harry Herbst, executive vice president and chief financial officer, resigned along with executive vice presidents Cindy Schonhaut and Carla J. Wolin.

ICG's day-to-day operations will be overseen by Chief Executive Randall Curran and Mike Kallet, executive vice president of operations, along with three senior vice presidents.

Beans will remain on ICG's board. The company expects Herbst, Schonhaut and Wolin to consult for ICG on an as-needed basis.

ICG, Englewood, Colo., named Rich Fish, senior vice president of finance, as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
