The agreement, which was made with the
United Auto Workers
union, provides access to the AOL service priced at $21.95 a month, but employees will pay a reduced fee of $3 or $5, depending on the type of service. Employees can also choose an AOLTV and DirecTV package for $31.95 a month.
Employees of both companies will also be able to use the AOL service to access employee portals for information and news.
