said Friday that shareholders backed its nominees for the board of directors and ratified its auditor for fiscal 2004.
The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., telecom company said 91% of holders voting backed its seven-member director slate and approved the choice of Dohan & Co. of Miami as auditors.
CEO Timothy Huff said the company will seek to move to the American Stock Exchange as early as the first quarter of 2005.
"In behalf of myself and the rest of the newly-elected board members, we would like to thank all our shareholders for continuing to allow us the opportunity to serve the company and giving us the opportunity to bring the company to the exciting future we are all envisioning," Huff said. "We have laid out our plans of action, and we feel confident that the next two years will bring exciting changes, with great profitability and greater shareholder value."
On Friday, GlobeTel shares were flat at 9 cents.
