downgrade of the company to hold from buy, Gateway said it remains "confident" that its PC sales, as well as sales of other products and services, are "ramping at expected levels."
Analysts expect the company to post fourth-quarter earnings of 62 cents a share and earnings of $1.85 a share for the year, according to
First Call/Thomson Financial
. Analysts expect fourth-quarter revenue of $3.1 billion and revenue of $10.1 billion for the year.
Shares of Gateway were recently down 7.6%, or $3.02, to $36.71 in
