Gateway Enters Price War

Gateway (GTW) was down 2.4%, rising off its morning low of $16.80 on its announcement that it was fighting back in the PC price war initiated by Dell (DELL) - Get Report.

If shoppers show an ad featuring a competitor's price for a comparable model, Gateway pledged to beat the price.

Dell was down 4.4%.
