Business-to-business software maker eXcelon (EXLN) was down 44.2% in early trading. After the close Tuesday, the company warned that it would lose 23 cents to 26 cents per share in the fourth-quarter. The Street expected a 4-cent loss. The company said it expects lower revenue due to reduced spending by dot-coms and telecommunications companies.
