said Friday that Jan Ahrenbring, head of market communications in the consumer products division, has decided to leave the company to pursue other interests.

The Swedish telecom equipment maker said the market communications responsibilities will be taken on by Philip Vanhoutte, the head of strategic marketing and marketing communications with the company's division of consumer products.

Shares of Ericsson fell 50 cents, or 5.2%, to $9.09 in recent

trading.
