Enterprise storage vendor
said Tuesday it's on track for the first quarter.
The company said it expects to earn at least a penny a diluted share on revenue that will range from $1.35 billion to $1.4 billion for the quarter ended March 31.
In the year-ago quarter the company lost 4 cents per share on sales of $1.3 billion.
The numbers were in line with the company's earlier guidance and Wall Street's expectations. EMC will report final first-quarter results before the market opens on April 16.
In recent trading, EMC was up 3 cents a share, or less than 1%, to $7.92.
