Dell Launches Tablet Concept
LAS VEGAS (TheStreet) -- Earlier today, Dell (DELL) - Get Report gave a sneak preview of its eagerly anticipatedtablet.
With a 5-inch screen, Dell is positioning the tablet as a supplement to comsumers' laptops, smartphones and PCs. Dell says its device is capable of delivering a "full Web experience."

forthcoming slate or tablet device. Chinese PC giant

also announced its IdeaPad
. Described as two PCs in one, the IdeaPad functions as either a clamshell notebook or a touchscreen tablet.
There has been no sign, however, of
Apple's
(AAPL) - Get Report
.
In addition to its tablet, Dell has also redesigned its Inspiron 14, 15 and 17 laptops and added more flesh to the bones of its smartphone strategy. On Wednesday telecom giant
AT&T
(T) - Get Report
announced that it would
launch Dell's first smartphone
later this year. Dell confirmed that AT&T would support its Mini 3 Android-based phone.
Other announcements from Dell include the debut of Alienware M11x, an 11-inch gaming laptop, and a revamped Studio 14 laptop with enhanced audio and a high definition display.
