Crossroads Systems (CRDS) was down 17.5% after posting a second-quarter loss Monday of 21 cents a share, wider than analysts' expectations of 17 cents and the year-ago loss of 2 cents.

The storage network equipment provider said revenue fell 8.1% from the year-ago period, to $10.2 million from $11.1 million, but edged up from $10 million in the first quarter.
