Cisco Picks Up NeoPath

Cisco (CSCO) - Get Report says it has agreed to acquire closely held NeoPath, a file-management and network-storage developer.

The deal gives Cisco more file server technology to beef up its storage and data-infrastructure product offerings.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. NeoPath is based in Santa Clara, Calif. Cisco says it expects to close the transaction by the end of April.

Cisco shares were down 11 cents to $26.06 in premarket trading Tuesday.
