
Check Point, Other Internet Security Names Rise on Lehman Initiation
Check Point Software (CHKP) was up 7% in midafternoon trading after Lehman Brothers began coverage with a strong buy rating. Lehman also initiated several other Internet security companies, saying it expects the group to be a top performer among tech sectors in the next year or two. Internet Security Systemsundefined was started at strong buy and was up 10.9%. RSA Securityundefined was up 2.2% and VeriSign (VRSN) was up 5.1%. Both were initiated with buy ratings.
