Check Point Software (CHKP) - Get Report was up 7% in midafternoon trading after Lehman Brothers began coverage with a strong buy rating. Lehman also initiated several other Internet security companies, saying it expects the group to be a top performer among tech sectors in the next year or two. Internet Security Systems (ISSX) was started at strong buy and was up 10.9%. RSA Security (RSAS) was up 2.2% and VeriSign (VRSN) - Get Report was up 5.1%. Both were initiated with buy ratings.
