Brocade Slides After Goldman Analyst Issues Cautious Comment

Goldman Sachs

said it didn't expect the network storage equipment maker to deliver the same upside surprises seen in the last few quarters.

While Goldman analyst Laura Conigliaro reportedly made positive comments on Brocade this morning, she also cautioned that the San Jose, Calif., company's stock price had reached a high level and could face a potentially slowing growth rate.

Brocade is due to report its first-quarter earnings on Feb. 21. Analysts expect earnings of 12 cents a share, up from 3 cents a share last year, according to
