San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center was emptied at around 5:15 p.m. EDT.Wire reports quoting San Francisco police said 14,000 people were in the building attending OracleWorld and another convention. According to the reports, a call came in at 4:20 p.m. EDT, saying a bomb would go off in an hour. Oracle representative Dave Sampson said the company wasn't notified until 5 p.m., when it made an immediate decision to evacuate the building.
Oracle representatives said the programs scheduled for Wednesday afternoon would take place Thursday morning.
