Autodesk

(ADSK) - Get Report

received a letter from the

Nasdaq

indicating that the design-software maker isn't in compliance with the filing requirements for its continued listing.

The letter cited the company's delay in submitting its quarterly report to regulators. The company plans to request a hearing before the Nasdaq listing qualifications panel in response to the letter.

Autodesk is conducting a review of its past stock option grants and had previously said it didn't expect to file its 10-Q with the

Securities and Exchange Commission

on time.

Pending a decision by the listing panel, Autodesk's shares will remain on the Nasdaq. Shares of Autodesk fell 15 cents Tuesday to $36.14.
