Tel Aviv stocks are dropping over 1% at the opening of the Wednesday session. The drops are attributed to the terror attack on an Israeli army outpost early this morning. The two Palestinians involved in this attack are reported to have been killed.

The two leading indices, the Maof-25 index of blue chips and the TA-100 index are each off 1.2%. Technology shares are down 1.8%. Total turnover is low at NIS 24 million.

Teva Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:TEVA) is down 1.7% on the session's largest turnover, NIS 9.5 million. Teva opened with a negative arbitrage gap of 0.9%.

Bank Hapoalim and Bank Leumi are each dropping 0.9%.

IDB group stocks are down. IDB Holding Corporation is off 1%, IDB Development Corporation is down 1.7%, Discount Investments is slipping 0.6%, and Clal Industries is down 0.2%.

Koor Industries (NYSE:KOR) is dropping 1.5%. Its agrochemicals subsidiary Makhteshim Again is off 1%.

Kardan is bucking the trend, gaining 2.9%.
