has sold its remaining stake in the firm, about 91 million shares, at prevailing market prices.
AT&T spun off the company in July, at which time it owned about $3 billion in AT&T Wireless stock. AT&T has been on a debt-reduction campaign recently and expects the sale of its cable operations to
announced last week to bring its total debt to less than $20 billion from $65 billion from the end of last year.
AT&T Wireless closed Monday at $13.29 a share, down 9 cents.
