
Apple iPhone Gets OK for Sale in South Korea

iPhone continues its penetration in Asia following an announcement from South Korea's telecommunications regulator that the iPhone has been given the OK to be sold in the country.
The iPhone joins a market dominated by
Samsung Electronics

LG Electronics
and many domestic handset makers. Apple's foray into Korea had been highly anticipated.
Apple had yet to acknowledge the announcement as of early Wednesday.
