Shares of the tech giant were down more than 7% after hours following the release of its September quarter report in which it reported EPS of $2.91 vs. $2.78 expected and revenues of $62.9 billion vs $61.46 billion expected. iPhone unit shipments of 46.9 million fell just shy of estimates, though, and its December quarter guidance of $89 billion to $93 billion came in short of a $92.94 billion consensus.
