of Cincinnati. AOL said Govern will manage the AOL network, including its infrastructure and data center operations; oversee the company's business technology functions; supervise AOL's internal computing services; and direct the company's shared technology development organization.
She succeeds John McKinley, who runs AOL's Digital Services business, and will report to AOL CEO Jon Miller.
"We are delighted that Maureen will be bringing her keen technology insight and experience to AOL," said Miller.
On Wednesday, Time Warner shares rose 7 cents to $17.85.
