It's a battle of the top-ranked offense versus the top-ranked defense, as the Atlanta Falcons take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 51. If Matt Ryan taking on Tom Brady and Dan Quinn trying to out coach Bill Belichick wasn't enough for you, there's plenty more to keep you interested.

If you're lucky enough to be in Houston, or even at the big game itself, it can be tough to know where to go or what to do. Houston is a big city, at 627 square miles. Events are being held all over town, even if the game is at NRG Stadium. And if you're at home on the couch, you'll want to be able to get rapid additional info that takes you beyond the TV screen.

Here are five apps from Apple's(AAPL) - Get Report  App Store that you can download to make your Super Bowl 51 experience more enjoyable, and let you and your friends enjoy watching Brady, Belichick, Bennett and the rest of the Patriots try to win their fifth Super Bowl ring.

Before you sit down to watch the games and eat a few snacks, download the NFL PLAY 60 app from the American Heart Association to get the blood pumping.

The endless runner game actually has you run, jump and turn, which in turn lets your character do the same (you have to hold the device to do this). When you move, your character moves, it's that simple.

You can earn coins to buy NFL team gear and get power-ups and see how many yards you've run, challenge friends and more.

Madden NFL Mobile

Nothing says watching football like playing a little Madden beforehand.

EA's(EA) - Get Report  biggest franchise ever is getting a little love from the App Store before the Patriots take on the Falcons on Sunday. Given the game is expected to be a high-scoring affair, video-game numbers are sure to be a key theme on Sunday.

The game, which has over 350 upgrades to last year's edition, finally lets QBs scramble out of the pocket and has classic mini-games in Live Events, as well as a deeper offensive and defensive playbook.

While the app itself is free, there are in-app purchases for Madden Cash to help build your franchise and lead it to glory.
