Watch the Coronavirus Even As Earnings Ramp Up Next Week
If there's one main driving factor of this market, it's the coronavirus and its widespread impact on the economy.
There are over 2.1 million cases of the virus worldwide, with over 147,000 deaths.
The U.S. has over 672,000 cases and 28,000 deaths.
Spain has over 184,000 cases and 19,000 deaths.
Italy has over 168,000 cases and 22,000 deaths.
And, while we've gotten some positive reports around Gilead's remdesivir as a treatment for COVID-19, the virus still has the U.S. economy shut down.
So, why--with earnings reports galore--should investors continue to pay close attention to the coronavirus?
